He will [a]protest on that day, saying,
“I will not be your [b](A)healer,
For in my house there is neither bread nor cloak;
You should not appoint me ruler of the people.”
For (B)Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen,
Because their [c](C)speech and their actions are against the Lord,
To (D)rebel against [d]His glorious presence.
[e]The expression of their faces testifies against them,
And they [f]display their sin like (E)Sodom;
They do not even conceal it.
Woe to [g]them!
For they have (F)done evil to themselves.
